The Power of Multiple Baptisms: Exciting Questions & Answers
Posted On July 28, 2018 By Peter In Uncategorized
Many people don’t realize that the New Testament teaches numerous types of baptisms. And as a result, they miss out on many of the supernatural opportunities that God intends us to experience. So, this last weekend, I gave a message on this (And if you missed “Elementary Part 3”, click here).
But, in that message, I promised to post some of my other messages that go into far more details… For example, have you ever wondered: If people die without baptism, will they go to hell? Can a person be baptized and still not experience resurrection power? Well, if you’re curious, click here for the video message.
And my real motive behind all of this? Well, church wide baptisms are coming up on August 29th! (And you can register at www.Substancechurch.com)
Every year, we get to hear some amazing testimonies. So, invite your friends to this powerful service. It’s always one of the highlights of the year.
Last but not least, I recently taught on the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit.” And I know there are probably more questions about it. So, a while back I wrote a free book called the Skeptics Guide to Tongues and Prophecy on the 40 biggest questions I’ve been asked about the Holy Spirit. So, if you’re interested, click: Skeptics Guide To Tongues & Prophecy for a free pdf copy!
And why? Well, on the first Wednesday of this Sept 2018, we’re going to be praying for people to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Many of you know that we’re rebooting our midweek services (formerly called “Deeper” for a newer format that will fit our whole church better).
For years, I’ve wanted to make our midweek prayer and worship a bigger deal here at Substance. But, the lack of child-care & competing needs of our youth ministry always seemed to cut our attendance in half. So, starting this September, we believe that we’re going to have an experience that changes ALL of this. Our “First Wednesday” services will finally be a service for all demographics – teens are welcome / child-care is provided. And we’re believing that these services will be the highlight of the month for our church communities.
So join us for an unforgettable night of teachings – with prayer and worship that goes deeper than we could normally do on a Sunday.
